Members of the Oak Glen Applegrowers Association will host the 23rd annual Apple Blossom Festival. This Spring tradition will find orchards, shops, restaurants and homeowners celebrating the apple trees in full blossom splendor, with activities including a free full moon campout on Friday, April 15, an apple pie baking contest, apple peeling contest, quilt show, live music, heirloom apple tree planting, rock climbing wall, a ladies' tea, treasure hunt with prizes, huge barnyard sale, Jazz night with live music & dancing, horse-drawn carriage rides, country craft vendors, and lots more!  Activities will take place throughout each day beginning at 10am and will stretch from one end of Oak Glen to the other.  Oak Glen is Southern California's mile-high apple region; its lush mountain beauty and quaint, "down-home" atmosphere is a welcome respite from city life.  Oak Glen is located 80 miles east of Los Angeles just north of the I-10 freeway on Oak Glen Road, above the cities of Yucaipa and Beaumont. Admission to most activites and events is free. Please visit our website at www.oakglen.net for more information.

Many of the Oak Glen apple trees were planted over a century ago.  The spectacle and the scent of apple trees in bloom never changes, luring visitors from near and far. Apple blossom time signals the end of another winter, and offers the promise of a new growing season.
